THIS APPLICATION IS FOR THE AFS GRANT FOR SHORT FILMS
Please note that this application is for short-length narrative, documentary, and experimental projects no longer than 40 minutes to support pre-production, production, and post-production.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Each filmmaker can only apply with one project for the AFS Grant for Short Films cycle. If you are an undergraduate student looking for the Harrison McClure Endowed Film Fund, that cycle will open in spring 2027.
- Applications will NOT be reviewed while in draft mode.
- Your application must be officially submitted by the deadline of August 27, 2026 at 6:00 PM CT to be considered.
